The building is partially coated in shale, highlighting and integrating simultaneously with fluidity in the surrounding landscape. The accompanying contemporary art collection is surprising, not only because of its spatial arrangement but because you can feel this family’s passion for culture. The wine sampling of the winery goes hand in hand with their typical Alentejo snacks and a marvelous view over the scrupulously aligned vineyards of the property.
In Évora, art will be our excuse to get to know the town that UNESCO has classified as a World Heritage site. Our focus will be on both art and culture, knowing that they are intimately linked throughout history.

Just half an hour away from Évora, architecture as an art form will also be addressed in the afternoon. We’ll visit a landscaped paradise, whose essence is a tribute to nature, fully respecting Andy Warhol’s quote, “Having land and not spoiling it is the most beautiful form of art.” This is an innovative project with a respect for nature at its heart and an attractive terroir that is expressed in its wines.
